Redefining the Travel Experience: From Concept to Redesign
My primary objective in this project was to conduct a complete redesign of the existing mobile application. The goal was to create a modern, intuitive interface that simplifies the preparation process for traveling on European toll roads.
About the Project
The app serves as a centralized digital hub for drivers, allowing them to not only purchase vignettes for different countries but also access detailed information regarding toll infrastructure – ranging from tunnels to ferry crossings.
Key Functionalities
Users can build custom routes and purchase necessary transit permits for one or multiple vehicles simultaneously. The system enables precise cost calculations for one-way or round-trip vignettes and allows for quick route sharing with friends.
Personalization and Service
The application helps users accurately determine their vehicle’s class according to specific country regulations and link the purchased vignette to their state registration plate. This ensures full control over travel documentation in a single app throughout the entire journey.
User Experience Optimization
A key focus of the redesign was streamlining the user journey to minimize cognitive load. By restructuring the navigation and purchase flow, I ensured that users can secure their permits in just a few taps, making the app a reliable and efficient companion during fast-paced trips.
